Tallberg, or "Thaellebaerghe", as the old name was written in 1450, means: "The pine-covered mountain, " is a beautiful village on the slope down to Lake Siljan with wonderful sunsets over the water all year round.
Top of the last century was Tällberg an ordinary farming village of about thirty farms with grazing animals, and many residents.
